BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

The Lewis & Clark Natural Resources District will hold a Budget Hearing on Tuesday, the 23rd day of September 2025 at 5:00 pm at Lewis and Clark NRD Office, located at 608 N Robinson Ave, Hartington, Nebraska.  A Special Hearing to set the levy at an amount different from the prior year tax request will be held immediately following the budget hearing. Budget hearings are open to the public. 

The Lewis & Clark Natural Resources District (LCNRD) will hold its monthly Board of Directors meeting on Tuesday, the 23rd day of September 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Lewis & Clark NRD Office, Hartington, Nebraska.  The current agenda is on file at the District Office. This meeting is open to the public.

NACD POSTER CONTEST – “HOME IS WHERE THE HABITAT IS”

This year’s theme emphasizes the vital role of both natural and managed habitats in supporting biodiversity and maintaining ecological balance. From forests and wetlands to urban parks and backyard trees, every habitat contributes to the health of our planet. Habitats not only provide shelter for wildlife - they also clean our air and water, prevent erosion, regulate climate, and sustain ecosystems essential to life. Please package posters so they remain flat when sent in for judging. Posters should be between 8.5” x 11” and 11” x 17”. Include the contest entry form on the back of each student’s poster. There is a category for grades 7- 12, which is the Digital Poster Contest. This is an individual student poster contest, not a team poster contest. The deadline for receipt of posters at the local level is October 3, 2025. Send or deliver all posters to the Lewis and Clark NRD, 608 N Robinson, PO Box 518, Hartington, NE 68739.
