NEW EMPLOYEE AT LEWIS AND CLARK NRD
The Lewis and Clark Natural Resources District (LCNRD) welcomes a new member to the family; Colton Krusemark began responsibilities as the Bazile Groundwater Management Area Resource Technician position on May 16th. Colton will be evaluating annual cropping reports, processing deep soil sample results, conducting interviews with producers about conservation adoption, and helping coordinate with other Natural Resources Districts within the Bazile Area. Colton’s time will be divided between the Lewis and Clark NRD office and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) office.
Colton Krusemark is originally from south of Ponca, NE. He will be graduating this summer with a bachelor's degree in Conservation and Biology Degree from Wayne State College in Wayne, NE. While in college, he participated in an internship with the Lower Elkhorn NRD in Norfolk, NE where he did water quality sampling and irrigation well checks. He is excited to be doing what he loves which educating people about natural resources management and being outdoors. He also enjoys plant identification and spending time outside with his family.
