Billing & Rates

Billing Process

Cedar Knox Rural Water Project (CKRWP) reads all customer water meters around the 20th of the month. Statements are prepared and typically mailed on the 25th of the month. If you are interested in having your statement(s) emailed, complete and return the  Billing Statement Via Email Request to CKRWP.  Payments must be received in the office by the 15th to avoid a 10% late charge.

When meters are read, water flow (in 15 minute intervals) is recorded for the prior 24 hours.  Intermittent Flow is indicated when flow is detected during 50-95 of the 15-minute intervals in the prior 24-hour period.   Continuous Flow is recorded when flow is detected during all 96 of the 15-minute intervals in the prior 24-hour period.  Flow Detected is indicated with the number of days during the last 35 days when either an intermittent or continuous flow was detected.  For more information on meters and flow rates see "Meters"

Payments

CKRWP accepts the following forms of payment: cash, check, credit or debit card, and automatic withdrawal from bank accounts. If you are interested in having your payment automatically withdrawn from a bank account each month complete the Bank Collection Authorization Form and send it with a voided check to CKRWP.

Credit card payments can be made online or in person. Debit card payments can be made online only.
